On April 27-28, 2018, Lead U Discipleship hosted its second conference in our Lead U Conference Series. The conference, “For the Life of the World: Christianity and Cultural Engagement,” aimed to explore the way in which the universal Church, local churches, and individual Christians should engage the culture with the gospel. We hoped to provide helpful biblical, theological, and historical insight into the problem and potential solutions.
About the Session:
In Session #5 of the conference, “Christian Engagement in the Midst of a Changing Cultural Morality,” Dr. Mark Rapinchuk explores how we can engage a culture that has ever-shifting moral standards. He considers how culture’s deteriorating moral conscience leads to an increased reliance on “cops” (authority), and then explores ways we can respond.
